Ethical

 Ethical as a term refers to an action of certain types of behaviour supported by moral values across group professions or individuals. This can include philosophic views on the way a person or organisation conducts themselves. Ethical issues are a balance between doing the right thing and conducting yourself in a manner expected.

Ethical responsibility

Ethical responsibility is now a subject high up on the corporate agenda, the leading corporations are now taking their ethical stance more seriously. This is leading to new ways of working including sustainability departments with a focus upon all things green and how the company can work smarter to reduce its energy, water and carbon footprints.

Ethical fair trade

Ethical fair trade aim to improve people’s lives by throughout the global supply chain. There aim is to ensure that producers of products at developing companies receive a fair price for their goods and services. It also includes covering social and environmental aspects as well as the product itself. The ethical view is that product and labour should be bought at a fair price so all elements of the supply chain can prosper.

Ethical decision making

Making the right ethical decision takes practice and training as there are many aspects and implications to consider when making judgements on what is the best way to proceed. This requires having a methodical approach to making ethical decisions either as an individual or as a company or government. This means more discussion is required about the difficult decisions that we all face, exploring the problems from different prospective and coming to a combined decision regarding the right ethical choices according to the circumstances and needs.
