Save water and ‘Share a Shower’ with Facebook app

by Simon 25. July 2011 12:00

We're all being urged to "Share a Shower" through a new fun Facebook app devised by Method, the company behind a range of non-toxic environmentally friendly cleaning products.

Why not join in and choose to share your shower with a friend or a fantasy friend and see just how much water we can collectively save.

Method, "the people against dirty", are combining saving water with fun, even suggesting that accessories should join you in the shower - everything from a loofah to chocolate spread to a rubber chicken! That’s up to you of course. Personally, I’ll stick with the loofah.

An average shower uses 63 litres of water, so, if everyone in the UK shared a shower we could save a colossal 1.5 billion litres.

You can make your shared shower all the more enjoyable by choosing one of the lovely products from BigGreenSmile’s extensive range of rejuvenating and refreshing shower gels.

And then, when you’re done, give the shower a quick once over with a fine mist of Method Shower Spray. Clean shower, clean you, clean friend... and, if you must, clean rubber chicken!
