Hollywood star-of-the-moment Anne Hathaway has been rocking a truly fabulous fringe.
The Americans like to call this “bangs” and she certainly looks bang on to us.
She’s been wearing a cute cropped haircut for a while but as the front grows out, somehow it looks more and more stylish.
Weird, because when that happens to us, we just look like a schoolgirl who needs a haircut.
India-Jewel Jackson, at Glamour.com, says: “Anne Hathaway has the best bangs I've seen in a LONG time.
“Get into those long, feathered bangs! Aren't they magnificent? The way they sweep her eyelashes and her heavily kohl-rimmed eyes have to peek through... It's just the best ever.
“I declare, this is how she should wear her bangs for the rest of her life.
“And her sideburns are blended into her fringe and it's all brushed backward—it looks like her stylist angled it that way with a round brush and a blow dryer.”
So could you make long bangs – sorry, a long fringe – work for you? According to the experts at HairBoutique.com, you need to use a styling product
before you blow-dry. We like Lavera Styling Mousse
Then dry the fringe in small sections of one to two inches, from the roots down to the ends. You can use a small round brush to give it a bit of movement, like Anne.
Finish off with a light spritz of hairspray
to make sure it doesn’t get out of hand!
