Ecover has made it to the small screen with a new TV campaign that spreads a green cleaning message in a fun and upbeat way.

And, as you would expect from the maker of eco-friendly cleaning products, the making of the ad was as good to the environment as Ecover’s products are.

The ad was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, using 95% local cast and crew.

Where other essential team members had to be flown in, Ecover made donations to two projects supervised by Climate Care; the first providing four million people in rural Kenya with clean, safe drinking water, and the second a forest protection project near Mombasa.

Solar-powered loos were used on set (and with 14 hours of sun a day that powers a lot of loos!), and eco-friendly friends of Ecover were called on for props and costumes (clothing provided by Boden).

Look out for the ad on a TV channel near you. You’ll even be able to learn a few "feel good cleaning moves" as you get the house clean to the groove of James Brown’s "I Feel Good".
