Mariella Frostrup has called on London residents to fight the impact of climate change by becoming more active.
The Norwegian-born journalist, who provided the voice-over for 2009 nature film The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos, made the call to action as part of mayor of London Boris Johnson's current campaign to make the capital more energy-efficient.
Mr Johnson has received support for the initiative from a range of household names, including Emma Thompson, Gillian Anderson and Michael Sheen.
And Frostrup has become the latest to star to speak out on the subject, saying: "One of the ways to meet the challenge of climate care seems to be an obvious one - we need to get on our feet."
Consumers can save money on expensive gym memberships by simply getting more exercise during their regular day, she explained.
As well as having a positive impact on the environment, this can also improve the health of London residents and cut obesity levels, Ms Frostrup added.
