A new energy-saving device that promises to cut electricity bills by a quarter can be fitted to most electrical systems, Green Wise has revealed.
Designed for industrial and commercial settings, the imop has recently been launched on the UK market and can be used on anything that consumes electricity, such as motors, heaters and fluorescent lighting.
When attached to an electrical motor, the device makes it run more efficiently - which in turn lowers maintenance costs and helps companies reduce their carbon emissions.
The company responsible for the technology, minimise, claims that the key to its success is a unique sizing kit that instantly selects the right size of imop required to make the inductive load work.
Managing director of the London-based minimise firm Paul West believes that the company's energy-saving device can help organisations manage increasing governmental pressure to reduce carbon emissions.
"It is likely that financial penalties will be imposed. By installing imop products using the Carbon Trust loan scheme, businesses can safeguard themselves against such future costs, effectively for free," he said.
