Energy-saving ventilation system 'recovers heat'

Energy-saving ventilation system Moondraught specialises in energy-saving and sustainable solutions to commercial and residential ventilation and lighting systems.

It will be holding a trade stand at this year's Sustainabilitylive! exhibition from April 20th to 22nd, which aims to demonstrate its cool-phase intelligent passive cooling system's capabilities to visitors and industry experts.

Finding ways to reduce global warming and utilise energy efficiently are extremely important practices in today's carbon-conscious society.

The system incorporates the latest Phase Change Material (PCM) technology to enable incoming fresh air to be tempered and also to recover heat that would otherwise be wasted - all while using less energy than a conventional light bulb.

Monodraught's managing director Tony Cull said: "We installed natural ventilation and lighting systems for schools, colleges, sports centres and many of the UK's leading retailers."

Also on display is the latest range of Monodraught Sunpipes, which are manufactured using 90 per cent recycled aluminium.
