A UK-based insulation supplier has reported an increase in demand for its dry lining boards as more and more people realise what is really important and make
energy saving in the home a priority.
As Up to 20 per cent of a household's heating can be lost through inefficient wall insulation, Panel Systems believes its Styroliner range can address this loss of heat by significantly improving the U-value of walls and ceilings.
The boards are designed to be environmentally friendly as Styroliner insulation is CFC and HCFC free.
Its polystyrene insulation is bonded to 9.5 mm plasterboard and no specialist equipment is required to fit the lightweight boards - which can be easily cut on site - leaving no excuse not to make
green home improvements.
Danny Phelan, sales manager at Panel Systems, said: "It provides an effective insulation solution for both walls and ceilings. The ultimate beneficiary is the homeowner, who benefits from savings on their energy bills, as well as a reduction in their carbon footprint."
