Great news! The Met office has promised that this year's summer will be generally warmer, sunnier and drier than the last two. In fact, great weather for solar chargers.
Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, Ewen McCallum, said: "After two disappointingly-wet summers, the signs are much more promising this year. We can expect times when temperatures will be above 30 °C, something we hardly saw at all last year."
Mind you, this is the same Met office who said that after a cold spell last winter would be warmer than average. That's not how we remember it turned out but we're sure they'll be right this time -- won't they?
