Ecover natural cleaning products can make the lengthy job of washing and scrubbing oven racks an easier prospect.

This is according to Kim Carlson, green blogger for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, who advised householders struggling with the tricky task to make their lives easier by applying a thin layer of Ecover Cream Cleaner to the racks.

Ms Carlson said she loves the natural cleaning product and stated that it can be just as effective when used on pans and sinks.

She went on to state that the cream cleaner is "one of the best abrasive green cleaners I have found".

Furthermore, the eco-friendly correspondent claimed that a mixture of baking soda and washing soda can also be handy when scouring filthy ovens, because they help to cut any grease which has built up in them.

Consumers often favour natural cleaning products because they are kinder to the environment and do not contain harmful chemicals, according to Andrea Donsky and Randy Boyer of the San Mateo Daily Journal.

They said that more commercial supplies can often have a damaging effect on the air quality of a home.
