Natural cleaning is the best way for eco-friendly consumers to remove stains and blemishes from their linoleum floors.
This is the view of the Arizona Daily Sun's Doug Moss, who noted that real linoleum - rather than synthetic or vinyl products - is one is one of the greenest types of flooring available.
Consequently, he recommended that it should be looked after with natural
cleaning products, as "cleaning it with harsh synthetic chemicals and maintaining it with polymer-based waxes just wouldn't be right".
He urged householders to follow the advice of Melissa Breyer from green lifestyle website Care2, who said linoleum can be kept in pristine condition with the use of a damp mop, a mild and all-
natural soap and some warm water.
As well as being kinder to flooring such as linoleum, author of the The Gort Crowd Richard Seireeni recently stated that natural
cleaning products can also be safer to use.
He told the Huffington Post that most consumers who purchase natural
cleaning products do so because they "simply want fewer toxic chemicals in their homes".
