After a week of teases and sneak previews, Melvita has officially announced the availability of its new natural hair care range.

The certified organic products are separated into five families of natural hair care solutions designed for different needs.

Multi-purpose family use formulations are free from silicones and sulphates, making them fuss-free and eco-friendly, the brand says.

The products in the range designed for normal hair could also be suitable for the whole family, as they are intended for scalps that are neither especially greasy nor particularly dry.

With a foaming base and active ingredients comprising lemon, honey and eucalyptus, these too are said to be ideal for different family members' needs.

For more specific requirements, there are products specifically formulated for oily hair, or for dry hair.

The line-up is completed with "tired hair" products - these are different from those for dry hair and cater for the specific needs of styled or coloured hair.
