natural beauty summit will be held in Germany next month to face the key issue of how to keep the industry sustainable.
The Sustainable Cosmetics Summit, which will hold its debut event at Frankfurt from November 16th - 17th 2009, will feature guest speakers from leading
natural beauty firms such as
Weleda.
As well as updating
natural beauty companies on the growing success of the industry, the conference will also concentrate on the use of natural, organic and fair trade ingredients in eco-friendly products.
Organiser Organic Monitor has held a series of conferences for the
natural beauty market across the world over the last two years, with the most recent event in Italy focusing on the assessment of standards and opportunities for growth for natural skincare firms.
Research from the company recently found that consumers in Asia are increasingly turning to
natural beauty products as they become more aware of the possible dangers of synthetic chemicals in cosmetics and toiletries.
