Water saving products are a great way of cutting household bills and helping the environment, an expert has said.
Sue Bartucca, writer for eco-friendly website the Risk Collective, said that using a Single Spray
Water Saving Showerhead is one of the most cost-effective ways of reducing a home's carbon emissions.
The product, which is available from our website for £14.99, can save almost two-thirds (60 per cent) in shower water and energy costs, meaning that householders can save an amazing £160 on their yearly bills.
It works with power showers, combi boilers, condensing boilers and dedicated shower pumps.
Ms Bartucca added that an alternative to washing powder known as EcoBalls can slash a further £74 from annual energy bills.
The balls, which contain mineral salts, can be put in the wash along with clothes, where they produced ionized oxygen that combines with the movement of the machine to lift away grime and dirt.
EcoBalls can also be found on our website for just £26.95 and will last for 1,000 washes.
