Gentle Herb Shampoo is balancing and conditioning for all hair types, including chemically treated hair. It's suitable for babies and for those with problem skin and helps to relieve itchy or flaky scalps. 

The goodness of natural herbs and oils and the absence of harsh detergent means that after a week or so of regular use, you should find that you don't need a separate conditioner.

Works well with soft water, and indeed very gentle. Suitable when in hot places with need to wash hair frequently.

The smell is a little strange.
It lathers up quite easily and if you follow the directions and leave it in your hair for at least 2 mins it leaves you hair feeling smooth and lovely (even on grey hair).

What an amazing product. The fact you don't need to use an additional conditioner is a bonus for both my purse and my time. I use one pump for my medium length hair, leave it on for 5 mins and rinse away. I use it every day and my hair is improving with every wash. Thank you for stocking such a quality product

This is a new shampoo to me but I am so glad I ordered it. I used it for the first time and did not use a condtitioner afterwards and I got away with not having to wash my hair for a whole week! My hair was soft and shiny and after the usual 3 or 4 days it still did not need washing. Ok, after about 5 or 6 days I could tell but it really wasnt that obvious, and as it was the weekend I just chilled anyway. I am just now 3 days into having used it twice so I will see what happens, but hey, I'm happy so far...

I have a problematic scalp - very sensitive & itchy. This is the first time i've used the product & although it takes some time to lather, it leaves my hair really soft & shiny & I get very little reaction, which is good.

The product did not lather up very well initially, but after a few washes it did seem to foam better. My hair feels soft and looks shiny and healthy once blow dried, only knocked it down one star as it does not de-tangle as well as I thought it would (States you do not need to use a conditioner, but I use a leave in conditioner to de-tangle). This is, however, a very good product overall.

I use it about three times a week, when i have a shower to wash my hair. It's nice to use, my hair is soft and it doesn't need conditioner. It's scent is o.k. as well.

I am a professional hairdresser & find that for my hair fine but lots of it this shampoo is great & you really do not need to use a conditioner as it states although I sometimes glide some through if I feel my hair needs it due to top of my hair being slightly drier than the rest. My mum also uses it & she has colours & perms and finds it works for heras well. Been using for last few years, try other shampoos now & then but always return to this.

This is the most fantastic shampoo you can buy. It is very good for sensitive skin. It never builds up, so you don't get dandruff and itchy scalp is banished by this soothing product.
I recommend this shampoo to everyone. It says you don't need a conditioner and it doesn't dry your hair out, but I use one just on the ends of my hair as it is very long to help keep split ends at bay and help with combing.
