This lavender oil is wonderful!

I originally bought it because someone recommended me to put lavender oil on the soles of my feet to help my sleeping problems, however, I have to say that although lavender is known to be one of the milder aromatherapy oils, whatever you do, don't ignore the warnings on the packaging about using it undiluted. I did at first and I regretted it. My feet were really hot and itchy as a result and I didn't do that again! As I had no oil that I could use as a carrier I decided to try mixing a few drops in a little jar with some Egyptian Magic and it's perfect! The Egyptian Magic acts as a semi-solid carrier which melts into your skin as you use it and the lavender oil doesn't irritate my feet now either. And yes, the tip about using it on the soles of my feet really DOES work! I recommend trying it if you have any sort of sleep problem (mine is pain related) and I recommend using the Tisserand oil. I don't think you'll regret it. If you decide to use Egyptian Magic as your carrier, mix it in a single portion size jar (such as the ones you get little servings of jam in at well-known chain coffee shops with a mermaid-style logo)and add about 6-10 drops, depending on how much you like the smell of lavender. The oil will make the carrier base a little more liquid but not so runny it will spill. Make sure you keep the jar sealed well and use at night on the sole of each foot - just a little bit will go far, so if you put a little too much on, rub some into your calf muscles too to help relax your legs.
