Same as the sandalwood: Having decided that this didn't bring me out in a rash from using the refill, I decided to get this refillable stick. The recycled plastic casing is quite impressive. The lid unscrews, then there's a protective cap to get off - I struggled with that - then you twist the base to advance the deodorant stick. You do the reverse to store it. You could leave the awkward cap off, but I think it preserves the deodorant and prevents drying out. The deodorant is very soft, winding it down doesn't always work and I had to push it a little most days. Unfortunately I realised that I was reacting to the parfum in these and I had to switch to unscented sadly, I really iked the smell
