Long time hayfever sufferer Max Wiseberg started Haymax after very limited success with other hayfever remedies available.
He came across what he later called HayMax after using it successfully for a couple of years. Max discovered that in hayfever sufferers pollen entering the body through the nose triggers at the production of histamines which cause a runny nose, sneezing and the other irritation associated with hayfever. Max found that as well as these side affects histamines also help to keep us awake and alert which is why anti-histamines can make you drowsy and affect your performance.
The simple idea Max had with HayMax is that if he could reduce the amount of pollen entering the nose, his hayfever might not trouble him so much. It all made sense!
