For best results:

  • Rinse thoroughly before first use. In shower or bath use on damp skin with soap or gel in a gentle circular motion to clean, freshen, exfoliate and invigorate skin 
  • To keep loofah fresh between uses, rinse and squeeze out excess water and hang to dry from the cotton string loop. Occasionally wash in the washing machine or by hand if you like
  • Will last for months with normal use and at the end of its natural life can be composted

Since discovering these loofahs I never use anything else. They feel rough in your hands but are really lovely to use, not at all scratchy and leave skin beautifully soft. Each loofah lasts for months and I love the fact that they can be put in the compost bin when finished with.

I find this Loofah really quite painful. It is quite scratchy so you don't want to scrub your body too much as it can hurt. I Like to use a scrub to really feel clean and I think I will have to stop using this one unfortunately.
It is also quite large when it expands, so it takes up space.
