Parabens are preservatives which have been linked with negative media reports suggesting they could be carcinogenic. Dead Sea Spa Magik have therefore removed all parabens from their products and now use an alternative preservative system.

Harmonised Water
Harmonised Water™ is the basic ingredient for your Dead Sea Spa Magik products. It is different to normal purified water, which is the base for most cosmetics. Water is normally listed as Aqua (Purified Water) and is the main ingredient in most skincare products (which is why it is listed first on the list). Harmonised Water™ is special as it goes through a de-ionising process to remove all impurities, before all the therapeutic Dead Sea Minerals are put back into it to make it much more effective on the skin than normal water.
New Organic Ingredients in Dead Sea Spa Magik
Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis)
The antioxidants present in rooibos, which is Afrikaans for "red bush" may help protect against free radical damage. Rooibos tea contains the largest amount of polyphenols (antioxidants) of any tea. Naturally caffeine-free and rich in anti-oxidants while low in tannin. Traditional medicinal uses of rooibos include alleviating infantile colic, allergies, asthma and dermatological problems.
Lemon Balm Leaf
Anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory, helping combat skin irritations by calming and soothing the skin.
Linden Blossom
Among its extracted components there is quercetin, a flavonoid well-known as an excellent free radical scavenger. Linden Blossom is especially beneficial on problematic skin, especially that which is oily and greasy. It harmonises the skin’s surface, calming imbalances. Known for its anti-inflammatory and protective properties.
Matricaria Flower
An anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant, with a soothing action on the skin, to reduce puffiness and cleanse pores of impurities. Matricaria is also an antiseptic and stimulates cell activity within the skin.
