Amazing product
I was looking for a very good, not expensive organic product to use on my skin and I came across with this rose otto day and night cream. Its amazing, my skin feels moist and soft and bright. Now, I am also trying other products from Dr. Organic and no disappointed at all.

thick and moisturizing
My wife of middle age and light skin loves this cream. The rose essential oils smell is wonderful, and it is thick and moisturizing on her dry skin. No breakouts on her face from daily use, and we just wish there was a natural SPF option. Highly recommended.

Smells like roses.
Smells like roses. It is very comforting. It is a little bit oily so if your skin is dry this is a good choice. It is lasting and is a good night time cream. Seemed to me more like an emollient than a cream that soaks in and disappears. I would use this only at night due to this. Too much stayed on my skin for me to use this under foundation makeup. My skin normal tending to dry.

I was pleased to receive the Organic Doctor Rose Otto Day Cream, 1.7 Fluid Ounce to test because I had used and liked the Organic Doctor Organic Aloe Vera cream. I have dry heels, especially in the winter, but also all year round as well. I have tried many creams to moisturize my feet and I was anxious to give this new Rose Otto lotion a try.I applied the cream at night before I went to bed and in the morning when I started my day. This lotion is thick, white, and has a distinct rose smell I put a dime sized dollop of cream in the palm of my hand and rubbed the lotion into the heel of my foot and then the rest of the foot. The cream absorbed quickly and easily into my foot and felt good. When I had finished applying the lotion to both feet, I put them on the floor and looked closely at them. They looked healthy, bright, and well moisturized. This is exactly the response I had from the Aloe Vera cream. The major difference is that the Aloe Vera cream has no noticeable smell, but, as mentioned, the Rose Otto cream does smell like roses.Unlike the Aloe Vera cream which has a modest list of ingredients, the Rose Otto list is extensive and I won’t include it here. Most of the ingredients are organic, which seems like a good thing to me.This cream is expensive but it is concentrated and a little goes a long way. I especially like the fact that it is quickly absorbed into my skin. Because the lotion is being used on my feet, I don’t mind the rose smell, which, in any event, I did not notice once the cream was applied. I like this lotion and will continue to use it.

Smooth and silky face cream

As I get older, I have become more conscious about what I put on my skin. Lately, I’ve been trying to avoid skin care products that are heavy in chemical ingredients, and I’m experimenting with organic creams instead.I was attracted to the organic Rose Otto Day Cream because I love the scent of natural roses, and the Rose Otto cream has just a hint of that delicious smell. The scent is not super sweet. It just smells like rose water and it’s subtle, which is good for me because I’m allergic to strong scents and perfumes. According to the makers of the cream, it doesn’t contain parabens, SLS, artificial colors, phthalates or harsh preservatives and the product is formulated using 70%-100% organic ingredients.The cream is white in color and is light. It’s the first cream I apply to my skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving any oily feeling. Then I follow it with an SPF day cream and my makeup. I’ve been using the cream for about a month and it hasn’t caused any breakouts or any adverse skin reactions. The Rose Otto cream contains among its ingredients: Rosa damascene flower water and oil, shea butter, rice bran oil and a number of flower extracts. However, there are also some chemical preservatives in the formula like Potassium sorbate and Sodium benzoate. It’s a good thing that they are considered low or moderate hazard by the EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database.After using this cream for a month, I have to confess that I didn’t see any notable differences in my skin. But I still like it because it certainly feels nice when I put it on and it smells great. If anything, this cream has some aromatherapy benefits for me. I love the rose water scent!

Too Strongly Fragranced
This is a very rich, very moisturizing day cream, heavily scented with a rose fragrance. It initially goes on greasy, but soon absorbs, leaving the skin very soft. However, the smell! The rose scent is overpowering, and reminds me of something old ladies wear. Even after washing with soap and water, I could still smell it. A big no from me, but if you like rose-scented things, then this is a decent moisturizer. It's organic too, and made without parabens, artificial colors, harsh preservatives, and phthalates.

I use this for my under-the-eye morning puffiness
I use this in the morning, under my eyes to lessen the wrinkles from the daily shrinking of my below-the-eye morning puffiness. I use it under my eyes only. It does not have any fragrance so more of a light chemical smell and when I put it on, and it seems very liquid. It does eventually soak in so I feel my skin is getting moisturized and it's not sticky later on.

A refreshing facial scrub
I found this to be an invigorating face scrub. As an 84 year old guy, Ihave blemishes and old age marks on my face. Using this cream gave me a most envigorating sensation. Also, my face looked, to me, much cleaner and younger. I do recommend this product highly for old men like me and also old women. There is a scent and it's a bit feminine. Otherwise, I found it a good product for myself.

Rose Otto Day Cream
I am pleased with the results of this day cream on my face. It left my skin feeling soft, not greasy. I did find the scent to be a bit strong for my use. I decided to use this on my legs so the scent wouldn't be so strong. It is a great product for arms, leg, and feet.

I used this Rose Otto Day Cream this morning on my face, after using the company's Olive Oil Face Scrub. Fantastic combination! I'm impressed with the natural and organic properties of both. Now, on to the Day Cream, it's very nice! This is a lovely rose-scented white fluffy cream that spreads easily on the face, feeling slippery and smooth at first, then soaking in and leaving a moisturized (but not greasy) face that looks and feels great, either ready for makeup or just natural. The company's rich and nourishing formula uses mostly organic and natural ingredients, along with the usual, but no bad stuff. The light rose scent (reminiscent of the old heirloom rose gardens of days gone by) is delightful and sweet, and only lasts for a short while. The cream can also be used on other parts of the body, but for me, it's a face cream. In my book, this is a company that cares about our health, and quality!

Wonderful Formula, But the Scent is Overpowering
This day cream is thick, but applies smoothly. It is extremely moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. A little goes a long way. Why did I give it three stars? Because the rose scent is overpowering. I am prone to headaches, but I'm not extremely sensitive to smells. However, this was so strong that I could only put it on a small section of my face. I have started using it on my feet. My feet feel amazing. It does moisturize my skin. I can't imagine anyone using this cream if they are sensitive to smells, or if they want to use a perfume. Again, the formula is wonderful, but the scent is overpowering.

Lightweight But Heavy On Moisture
I'm always on the hunt for the perfect skin cream, and this is definitely worth a try. No known potentially harmful ingredients, and it is even in a glass container. I do wish that it had a stronger rose scent, but given that this may be meant for faces I suppose you don't want something that will be strong near the nose. However, I have tried it on my arms, hands, and chest and it moisturizes well and leaves absolutely no greasy residue. My face in the summer rarely needs moisturizer but would be something I'd go to should I need just a tad here and there; so this would make a good choice for those looking for a lighter face cream. Even my daughter has taken to this cream, and her young skin had no reaction to it at all. A great skin cream for all types of skin!

Comes Up Smelling Like a Rose
I love the scent of roses. The fragrance in this day cream appears to be mostly natural, but the ingredient list also contains fragrance. While that word can mean a lot of things, most of the ingredients are great, and Organic Doctor does not test on animals.The day cream is very rose-scented. I love it. To me, it smells romantic and fresh. But you may not like it, and it's fairly strong. It feels a little warm when you put it on (or maybe that's just me again - my skin is really sensitive), and it soaks right in, leaving skin looking soft and hydrated. Even my 55-year-old neck. This might not be something you want to put on younger skin, say, under about 38 years old, unless your skin is on the dry side of normal, but it did my starting to age skin a world of favors.Not inexpensive, but not nearly as costly as many department store brands that don't feel or work any better (sadly, I know this from wallet experience). Recommend. This cream makes your face skin so so so soft! I use the rose scrub which is fantastic so I gave a chance to this cream and the brand did not disappoint me. It is my choice for day cream.

My go to day cream
I am a huge fan of Dr. Hauschka but this is a little more affordable, the first time I tried it was when we lived in Kenya and as soon as I open this jar the smell took me right back… Just as wonderful as smooth as I remembered it. The scent is very light so you can tell it’s not artificial and it definitely keeps my skin moisturize with a very thin layer of moisture for the entire day

Roses & Borage Oil!
Love the very light scent and the fact that it also includes borage oil which is extremely healing to sensitive skin. I can’t use it as a day cream, though, because it makes my eyelids too oily for makeup. But at night, the faint hint of roses helps induce a restful sleep and I awake with supple skin for the morning!
