I use these taps on 3 different products and dread having to change them when I have received a new box as it's so fiddly. I don't see why Ecover don't use the system that comes with a wine box.

Bought one of these a year or so ago. It was such a pain to try and fit I actually gave up as I assumed I’d been sent an incorrect item and to my shame I didn’t bother contacting BGS to let them know. I have since refilled my containers by brute force and being a pretty good shot😀. Obviously I do not recommend! Unfortunately I have had to add one star purely in order to be allowed to add this comment.

Incredibly difficult to fix onto box.
This needs to be improved.
It puts me off purchasing the refill box in the future.

Little bit clunky to fit and felt quite expensive but will obviously last for ever and was needed for the large box.

Really hand for dispensing product from larger containers. The tap gives a smooth flow and is easy to use.

The instructions for installation are very vague and need improved.

This one was an absolute pig to fit hence 4 rather than 5 stars

Fitted to an Ecover 15l refill. Issues:

1. The provided fitting that is supposed to strengthen the fitting to the cardboard container of the refill liquid extends beyond the edge of the box.

2. The tap drips after use.

Taken as a whole and noting that the large refills need some kind of tap, there’s probably no better option. That said, it’s not as good as the price might suggest...

Irritating to fit. The pictorial instructions on the box are blurry. Either needs a redesign and better instructions or a built in tap like a wine box.

The instructions were just pictures and not that helpful.
Once I realised I just pushed the bung bit of the tap hard into the bag then I did it in seconds.
It’s slow to fill but no leaks nor mess.

Makes it much easier to use the bag.

Tricky to fit but i ended up decanting to smaller containers in the end anyway.

Essential for the bag in box.

These taps make life so much easier! Definitely recommend

A necessary product for the large ecover items but it needs to be made aware that you need to purchase one of these with the 15l boxes.

Came with box broken so had to take it out, still does the job in just it’s plastic container.

You cant do without a tap if you buy the liquid bulk items

Great idea but the cardboard box container isn't strong enough and needs to be reinforced with plastic tape to enable it to support the weight of the bag. The tap supplied isn't quite the same as the one shown on the Ecover box, and it moves around a bit. The actual contents are great!

I use with the tap, decant into saved bottles and it is great value.
I would recommend to all my clients, friends and family.
The original version of cover laundry liquid which this is is better for me due to its fragrance being subtle

Makes decanting from box so simple and no mess. Love the fact that I can use 1 tap between more than 1 box. Very highly recommended

It's easy to insert and it works.

Need for your first purchase of a 15 litre "bag in the box" from ecover.Attached easily and push down and the fluid flows and there is not much dripping,so great does the job.

Essential, so it's a bit annoying to have to buy this separately, but it's always worked well and reliably. Just had to get another one because I added another box product to my collection, and it's a bit more convenient for each box to have a tap (though it's easy enough just switch one tap around).

Tap fine, but instructions on box for fitting not accurate. Reference to parts not supplied. Also need to say how far to push in tap before thread will catch.

I had to wait the tap which wasn't a problem because I already got the E-Cover laundry bottle.today I have used it, no drips and gave a regular flow

an important tool for a large eco product. it wouldve been messy. this is a great way to fill bottles of wash up liquid and will last years. bargain!!!! x

It's a shame this isn't free with the 15L boxes.

An exytortionate amount of money to pay for a basic tap. It might a bit more sense of Ecover included the green "collars" that the refill units in the stores have - they eliminate dripping and wastage.

Not using tap after all. Hubby complained that the one he tried to use on our washing up liquid box didn't work very well, so he just pours the stuff into a smaller container.

Easy to fit and works very well. (You can't use the 15L refills without it.)
£5 is a lot for what it is but the tap is a one time purchase and I'd rather pay more to ensure it works and lasts than have a cheaper unreliable product.

This should be cheaper for what it is and it should include the green disc to make it easier - not sure why only retailers are able to get the disc and stand

Easy to install in the 15 litre box. The taps leak a tiny amount after use.

I use it on boxes of ecover liquid soaps. The quality is fine but it is a little irritating that we cannot purchase the green plates or the white stand to place the cardboard box on.....

Fits bulk box dispenser. Might be even better if it had a plastic backplate to fit into the hole in the box. I think it used to!

Its a tap and performs as a tap to suit the ecover bag in a box products

ALSO THE 15 LITRE REFILL BOX IS MORE COST PER VOLUME THAN THE COST OF 10 INDIVIDUAL 1.5 LITRE BOTTLES POURCHASED AT THE SUPERMARKET (TESCO: TWO 2 1.5L BOTTLES FOR £7.00) AND NO TAP IS REQUIRED (AN ADDITIONAL £7.00 WITH POSTAGE). I DID NOT REALISE THIS UNTIL AFTER THE BOX WAS DELIVERED. ALL IN ALL, THE TWO PURCHASES ARE VERY DISAPPOINTING FINANCIALLY, CONSIDERING THAT MY INTENT WAS TO SAVE ON THE FAMILY BUDGET BY BUYING IN BULK. WE HAVE BEEN USING ECOVER PRODUCTS FOR YEARS (WE HAVE A SEPTIC TANK), BUT I WON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE AGAIN OF ASSUMING THAT ECOVER PRODUCTS ARE LESS COST WHEN BUYING IN BULK ON LINE,..ESPECIALLY IF ACCESSORIES ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE PRODUCT.

Tap works fine although it doesnt cut off cleanly so you will need a container to catch any drips.
