A replacement head for the wooden Eco Living dish brush, made with natural tampico plant bristles.  Tampico is a very robust fibre from the yellow leaf of the agave cactus, which grows only in the highlands of northern Mexico. Tampico has great water-retaining properties, is resistant and hard-wearing, and keeps its shape without softening.with plant-based bristles.

I used this daily and like it, but it isn't as durable as I thought. I have a scrubber that is much stronger. This one splays and frays relatively quickly.

We regularly swap 3 heads on our Eco Living brush, so that we can give them a rest and sweeten them with a bicarb soak. As a result we have been using the same three heads for 18 months. It took my husband a couple of sessions to get used to the more flexible feel of the bristles, but he's a complete fan now and even uses a brush as a palm brush sometimes. We won't. be going back to plastic.

Works fine and good value, but the bristles are soft, so it doesn't handle anything that needs a hard scrub.

Judging from the use of the original head, which I started to use in August, I won't be needing any spare heads until next year at the earliest.

Long lasting brush head that fits sturdily onto the accompanying handle. The shape enables easy cleaning of some items that can be difficult to clean using some of the brushes sold in supermarkets and when it does come to the end of it's life, it can be thrown into the compost bin.
