The bio washing powder from Ecover features active biodegradable ingredients that tackle stains effectively even at 30° leaving clothes with the delicate fresh fragrance of Eucalyptus & Lavender.

How to use:

Always check your garment’s washing instructions. Suitable for white and colourfast items. Sort out whites and colours and wash separately. Suitable for 30-60°C. Flame-retardant finishes: never soak or wash above 50°C.

New colour textile can fade – please wash separately at max. 40°C. Treat stubborn stains first. Use a short washing program for light soiled wash. Use Ecover Delicate Laundry Liquid for wool & silk.

Standard load (4-5kg) Soft/medium water: Machine = 75g (100ml), Hand = 50g (65ml)

Larger (6-8kg), dirtier load / Hard water: 100g (130ml)

This is amazing! It has changed some very sad and grubby looking articles into bright and sparkling ones again. I have been looking for a washing powder like this for 2 years now and tried many different ones. I shall buy this regularly from now on, I wish they did it in a bigger size!

The product always delivers clean, bright clothes whilst protecting the environment. Grease and dirt are removed easily with the bio powder. I have tried many brands of non-bio powder and was never happy with the quality of the wash, so return to Ecover bio every time.

Still far too perfumed for me (though not as horrendously stinky as the liquid version which is appalling, massively over perfumed in my view)- so I use it for emergency spills and then try and get the perfume off the clothes, which is a battle and a half and requires several more washes. Please Ecover, make a Bio Clothes Wash either without perfume or with very little!

Bio removes stains better than non-bio in my experience but now can't seem to find this product in the shops. Can order online. No optical brighteners here as in many procucts - these are nasty for the skin.

When I was washing nappies I found that the beautiful coloured nappies were fading. I contacted the nappy manufacturer who said that it was the non-bio formula (even Ecover) and to swap to Bio. This I did and no more problems with fading so I use bio with my coloured wash and non-bio with my whites.

I use the product for all washing that requires a bio wash, i.e. tea towels, tablecloths, bed linen. I never need to use a pre wash stain remover spray, which makes Ecover bio much better than other bio products.

I use this product when I need a bio wash such as a heavy white wash or for my husband's gardening work clothes, always grubby and well muddied up from the allotment.
It gives excellent results all round even on the mud and compost stains. Nice fresh fragrance and an added bous is it does not make me sneeze!

Would recommend to anyone who wants a good 'Green' Bio laundry powder.
