Ecovers laundry bleach helps remove bleachable stains without any chlorine or optical brighteners. Use it diluted to treat stains or with detergent to give your laundry a boost. Fragrance-free, it  uses an oxygen-based bleaching agent to keep stains at bay.

How to use:

Soak stained clothes in a mix of warm water and Ecover bleach before washing. Or add to your normal wash for extra punch. To be used on whites and colour fast clothes. Works best on bleachable stains such as tea, blood and tomato.
Dosage per fukk machine load: 4–5kg
For brilliant whites: 1 x tablespoon / 15g
Removing coloured stains: 2 x tablespoons / 30g
Handwashing and soaking: 1 x tablespoon

A very effective environmentally friendly bleach, which restores whites so effectively. A perfect alternative to conventional bleach that contains harsh chemicals. I'm still unsure as to how effective this laundry bleach really is. I'd like to give it the thumbs up, but for the fact that I've pulled items out of the wardrobe and noticed a very definite yellowing on white cottons.
I brought this up with Ecover, who were politely evasive, suggesting it might have been a faulty batch that somehow reached the supermarket shelves. The problem with that explanation was that I was referring to several garments, and they had been cleaned at different times - therefore with different batches.
Nevertheless, out of loyalty, I continue to add it to my white washes for bed linen and towelling.

A very good product, but the packaging needs improving as 3 of the boxes I ordered were punctured and quite a lot of their contents were sloshing around in the bottom of the box in which the order came, unusable as mixed with the shredded cardboard used to fill the corners of this box.

I not only use this product for washing laundry whites but also for general household cleaning which would sometimes require a conventional bleach treatment i.e. cleaning the toilet. I have recommended this product to friends by purchasing them packets and having them try it. I did this with the washing-up liquid and your toilet cleaner and they found them very efficient for their purpose. It's nice to convert people who would not otherwise try environmental products which they think are expensive.

This is the first time I have used this particular product. I don't like the idea of using bleach but sometimes it is the only way to get whites clean. I first bought this as i found it helped to really get clothes clean with the non bio washing liquid. i dont use it as much now there is a biological option but if i do have whites or pale colours that are very dirty i add this in and it gives a great clean.
