  • To keep your loofah fresh between uses, squeeze out any excess water, shake out any food particles and hang it to dry from the cotton string loop. Occasionally wash in the washing machine or by hand if you like

Once wetted this pad puffs up to a huge loofer slice. Completely impractical for washing up dishes and it's far too big to easier store near the sink

Really good washing up thing! It has enough scrub to clean tea stains from mugs and remove some dried on stuff, with a bit of soaking I’ve not needed anything more abrasive, a good size too and long lasting. Rinse and hang with the loop after use and it feels nice and clean and smells fresh, I love it!

I have been looking for a natural product that matches a sponge scrubber. This works like a sponge, but is ‘scrubby’ enough to get sticky bits off. Seems to be hard wearing and doesn’t get smelly. Will be ordering more.

Good biodegradable option to a sponge scourer for non-stick pans and general dishwashing. Recommend for regular dishwashing. Quality seems good, haven't used for long enough to know how long it will last.

It’s an efficient sponge but I only wash up a few items that can’t go in the dishwasher and this isn’t really suitable for that as it needs to be thoroughly soaked before it’s any use. Make sure you remove any food particles before it dries or they end up trapped in the structure.

I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately it's much to rough, even after giving it a good long soak. It badly scratched non-stick pans after just a few uses though it is advertised as suitable for those.

Although this doesn't necessarily 'scour' as well as scourers made from fossil fuel derivatives, it cleans most things well. I use these pads because they look better - and they can be composted and break down within months rather than generations.

So happy I took a chance on this! Lovely to use and seems to be robust so far. No need for the rope/string but doesn't bother me. Makes me smile to be using a natural product at the sink! Hate to think of all the plastic sponges going into the trash when there is a biodegradable alternative
