We thought you might like to know a bit more about Burt's Bees – here are a number of their core beliefs.
Firstly, they are working to make sure all of their products are 100% natural. At the moment half their products are 100% natural and they are working hard to raise that number, finding natural ingredients to replace synthetic ones for example.
Burt's Bees never test on animals. Neither their finished products nor any of the ingredients are tested on animals.
Burt's Bees make a point of making sure they put enough product in their packaging so you don't run out before it reaches its expiry date but not so much that there isn't a whole lot left unused. Waste prevention is good for the environment.
All Burt's bees packaging is recyclable.
Burt's bees gives back to the wider community. Every year they work with about 40 organisations, supporting them through a variety of means including sponsorship, providing free product and volunteering to lend a hand.
