How to use:

Always check your garment’s washing instructions. Suitable for white and colourfast items. Sort out whites and colours and wash separately. Suitable for 30-60°C. Flame-retardant finishes: never soak or wash above 50°C.

Treat stubborn stains first. Use a short washing program for light soiled wash. Use Ecover Delicate Laundry Liquid for wool & silk.

Standard load (4-5kg) Soft/medium water: Machine = 75g (100ml), Hand = 50g (65ml)

Larger (6-8kg) dirtier load/hard water: 100g (130ml)

I return to this product every so often as believe it would be the most sustainable way to wash clothes - packaging truly recyclable and powder just disappears. No plastics involved at all. However, I find the smell unpleasant and I don't know what it is. It happens every time I buy a box! The bio version is fine but for now will have to stick to laundry liquid for a non-bio eco washing solution.

I have used Ecover laundry liquid / powder for years. Sadly, nowhere nearby us now does refills for liquid, so am using powder to avoid the plastic bottles. Very pleased with its effectiveness.

I use it for coloured articles on a 30 degree wash, and it is good. I sometimes give the cycle 5mins to start and switch off so it has a soak, then switch it on again.

I don't actually use as much as they say you should, and it works fine. Don't use it on the quick wash cycle, as it doesn't always rinse out properly if you do.
