Eco-friendly Bio-D gets a Green Apple at the Houses of Parliament

Bio-D, maker of eco-friendly cleaning products, has at last received its Green Apple award at the Houses of Parliament, in London.

The Hull-based company won the award way back in August as part of a national campaign to find Britain’s greenest companies, councils and communities.

The company was up against 500 other nominations; it won for its project outlining its ISO 14001, a standard earned for demonstrating successful environmental management systems.

As well as receiving the Green Apple award Bio-D will be invited to have its winning paper published in the Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice.

And just a few weeks ago, on November 15, the Bio-D team headed down to London to pick up the award. Bio-D’s sales and marketing director, Sara Holtby, said: "We are delighted to have won this prestigious award and are proud to have put Hull and East Riding on the environmental map."

And here at BigGreenSmile were delighted to offer you the Bio-D range. You don’t need to head to Hull or live in London to get the award-winning products, we’ll bring them straight to your door.
