Ecover gives you a sneak peek into its eco-friendly factory

Ecover has opened the doors to its eco-friendly factory for us all to see just how much its green philosophy runs through all aspects of design and production.

In the short film you get the chance to meet the makers of green household cleaning products, in their snazzy Ecover fleeces (not that the factory gets cold; the roof made out of plants help to keep the heat in whilst saving energy in reduced heating costs).

You also get a quick tour of the factory itself, highlighting all of its sustainable attributes; an astonishing 95% of the factory is made from recyclable or renewable materials.

To view the video (and you should; it’s only two and a half minutes long) just pop along to Ecover’s online magazine, the-splash.co.uk.

You may even be moved to leave a comment. Ruth Skatrix was, writing; "I am *seriously* impressed that this is the way you want to run your company. It’s about time that large companies took more responsibility for themselves and you have demonstrated (wonderfully I might add) the way in which this can be done with minimal harm to the environment. I take my hat off to you all for showing the way forward :-)".
