Ecover, the company behind those lovely green cleaning products, is giving one lucky winner the chance to win a place in the 2012 London Marathon.

It’s not easy to get a place as a runner; you must enter a ballot to get the opportunity. But Ecover has a place waiting for you. And if you run you also get the chance to raise money for Ecover and WaterAid.

Ecover has been a huge supporter of WaterAid, a charity dedicated to helping people change their lives with clean, drinkable water, for a while, and now it can be your turn to help out too.

The winner of the competition will get a place in the Virgin London Marathon 2012. And guess what? You win the chance to dress up too! As WaterAid’s iconic giant tap!

To enter, you need to be fit and healthy and ready to raise at least £1,750 for WaterAid. Oh, and they’d like you to share your training progress on their blog.

Not asking much are they? It’s a lovely "prize" no doubt, but if it’s not quite for you there’s still the chance to enter other Ecover competitions where you can win such goodies as an iPad. Just ‘run’ along to Ecover’s online magazine, the-splash.co.uk.
