It's International World Water Day on March 22 - so what will you be doing to celebrate?

You can always do your bit for World Water Day by simply cutting your shower time down from seven minutes to four with a shower timer, and by investing in some super-efficient water saving products.

For a more detailed look at water issues, The Institute of Water is highlighting the importance of fresh water resources with a free seminar in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Rachel Dyson, from Anglian Water, will be speaking about water saving and Anglian Water's "Love Every Drop" campaign, while Dr Liz Sharp, from the University of Bradford, will look at ways in which sustainable water management can benefit our living environment both socially and ecologically.

Lynn Cooper, chief executive of the Institute of Water, said: "International World Water Day is... a means of focusing attention on the importance of fresh water and advocating the sustainable management of fresh water resources. The Institute is very pleased to be celebrating the day with a thought provoking seminar, delivered by two very interesting speakers."

The breakfast seminar will be from 8am at the George Hotel in Huntingdon. To reserve your place and free breakfast just call 07710 608686.

And don’t forget... free breakfast. Book early!
