Burt's Bees body lotion made it into the Guardian's week of "buy of the day" picks on Monday, earning the description of being "invaluable" from the publication.

The brand's starter pack, containing body lotion - both moisturiser and cleanser - shampoo and conditioner, cuticle cream and foot lotion, started a week of must-have items.

The Guardian also stressed the eco credentials of the kit, with recycled packaging and natural ingredients including "lots of honey".
