Melvita has offered members of its Facebook group some natural hair care advice involving its Argan Oil.

The toiletries brand urges its members to try the tip for themselves in order to achieve softer hair.

In order to do this, the natural hair care developer suggests taking a coin-sized amount of Argan Oil.

This should be smoothed into the ends of the hair and left in overnight, to allow the oil to get to work on the drier areas of the strands.

"When you wash your hair the next morning it'll be much softer and shinier," the brand advises.

Argan Oil is derived from the tree of the same name that grows in Morocco and has traditionally been used for hair, nail and joint care.

Melvita's formulation is certified organic by testing organisation Ecocert, meaning not only that all of the ingredients used are natural in origin, but also that they are all grown using organic farming principles.
