Elle 'The Body' Macpherson tells People magazine that natural beauty is the definition of her iconic dressed-down look.

In an interview with the publication, she reveals that she has a natural golden skin tone, but does not tan in order to top it up.

Rather, she wears one of her collection of cowboy hats to keep her face out of the sun, with bronzing sun care products to give natural beauty a slight helping hand.

A similar approach is taken to her hair, which is left to do its own thing during the warmer summer months.

"I don't really touch my hair. It tends to form dreadlocks quite easily in the summer, but I leave them," Elle tells People.

She also uses saltwater from her days at the beach as a natural styling aid, simply by not washing it out before the evening arrives.
