Natural beauty products 'growing in appeal'

Natural beauty products Natural beauty products are so appealing to customers because, unlike their chemical-filled alternatives, they tell consumers what they are made of.

This is the view of Janetta Mackay, fashion and beauty writer for the New Zealand Herald, who said that customers are increasingly concerned about the contents of their skincare products.

"Given how opaque labels are, it's no wonder ranges with a simple message are growing in appeal," she said.

The growing allure of natural beauty has, she noted, led worldwide sales of organic products to increase by more than $1 billion (£613 million) a year.

Ms Mackay listed Swiss natural skincare firm Weleda's Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash, which is available from our website for just £6.69, as one of her top 11 beauty products.

Combining organic plant oils with fragrant essential oils, it nourishes the skin while stimulating the senses.

It is blended with the aromas of orange, mandarin and grapefruit and is perfect in the shower or the bath.
