One of
Weleda's natural skincare products has won praise from a leading source on eco-friendly news and living.
An article in the Ecologist recommended the German
natural beauty brand's Skin Food, noting that it could be particularly useful for those who enjoy open-air activities.
"It can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly out of doors," the correspondents Matilda Lee and Laura Sevier explained.
Furthermore, the writers pointed out that the natural skincare product is "intensely replenishing", making it suitable for helping to repair dry complexions.
Noting the history of
Weleda's brand, they pointed out: "This multi-tasking and heavily praised 100 per cent organic Skin Food has been around since 1926."
One fan of natural skincare is Australian model Catherine McNeil. On a photoshoot for Vogue magazine, she explained that she foregoes chemical-filled products for those which contain organic extracts such as tea tree, lavender and avocado oils.
