Weleda's Birch Cellulite Oil is an extract of organic birch leaves, rosemary and ruskus and is free from synthetic additives.
The Scandinavians hit themselves with birch twigs and branches to increase circulation after a sauna but Emma Thompson of Woman's Own magazine believes
Weleda's
natural beauty product is a pain-free alternative.
By applying a little birch oil to areas where blood circulation is limited, users can tackle cellulite dimples, she said.
"Smooth on some oil, then work your knuckles gently over the fleshy areas like buttocks and thighs, followed by gentle pinching across the backs of arms and around the sides of your knees," Ms Thompson advised.
She added that by using a little extra oil over the rest of the body will leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
Weleda's Birch Cellulite Oil has received recognition as an effective skincare product and was named as Best Cellulite Treatment at the
Natural Beauty Awards in 2006.
